Licence conditions (17)
  1. A prompt will appear at the point of sale to remind staff that valid photographic ID is required when selling age related products.
  2. A 'No ID - No Sale' policy will be adopted.
  3. The display of alcohol will be limited to the back wall of the shop and the area behind the counter.
  4. Internal and external areas of the premises will be well lit and kept clear at all times.
  5. CCTV shall befitted to a standard agreed by the Police that complies with the CCTV code of practice (Latest Edition), produced by the Information Commissioners Office, with all public areas, including access and egress points covered.
  6. The CCTV system shall be maintained and serviced on a regular basis and records kept to that effect.
  7. CCTV shall be operational at all times that the premises are trading. Images will be retained for a period of at least 31 days by whatever means the Licence Holder deems appropriate.
  8. The Police or Local Authority will be allowed to take a recording by way of tape, CD Rom, DVD, memory stick of any other appropriate means of the image within 48hrs of the initial request being made by either the Police or Local Authority.
  9. A refusal recording system will be in operation at the premises. All staff involved in the sale of alcohol will be fully trained in the system and it will record the following:
  10. (i) Time of refusal
  11. (ii) Item refused
  12. (iii) Name or description of the person refused
  13. (iv) Reason for the refusal
  14. (v) Name of the staff member making the refusal
  15. The refusal system will be available for inspection to any Police Officer, Local Authority Licensing Officer or Trading Standards Officer at any reasonable time.
  16. A Challenge 25 scheme will be adopted at the premises. All staff involved in the sale or supply of alcohol will be trained in the scheme and such training will be recorded. These records will be available to the Police or other responsible authority upon request.
  17. All staff involved in the sale or supply of alcohol will receive regular training and their responsibilities Under the Licensing Act 2003. This training will be recorded and such records will be available to the responsible authorities upon request.
