Licence conditions (23)
  1. All windows and doors are to be closed when music is playing. Any noise emitted from the premises shall not exceed an equivalent continuous sound pressure level (LAEQ) of 45dBA in any one hour period between 7am and 11pm and LAEQ of 40dBA in any fifteen minute period between 11pm and 7am when measured and rated in accordance with BS7445 from the boundary of the site.
  2. All exits and escape routes to those exits (including external escape routes) from the premises shall be provided with non-slip even surfaces and shall be maintained in good repair, correct working order and kept free from all obstructions when the public are on the premises. External escape routes shall also be kept free from ice and snow.
  3. There shall be maintained on the premises at all times an adequate and appropriate supply of first aid equipment and materials.
  4. The premises shall be provided with adequate lavatory accommodation which shall at all times when the premises are in use be kept clean, ventilated, disinfected and supplied with hot and cold water, soap, toilet tissue, hand drying and sanitary towel disposal facilities as appropriate.
  5. Any gas boiler, calorifier or other gas appliance will be tested on a regular basis and a satisfactory GAS SAFE (or equivalent) inspection report will be provided annually to the Licensing Authority. (If Applicable)
  6. The electrical installation shall be inspected and tested at intervals specified by a competent person. A satisfactory and valid inspection report shall be available on site for inspection by an officer of the authority.
  7. Each socket outlet circuit or individual socket outlets used for public entertainment shall be protected by an integral residual current device (RCD) having a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30mA (0.03 amps). Every such circuit and residual current device shall be inspected and tested at intervals specified by a competent person. A satisfactory and valid inspection report shall be available on site for inspection by an authorised officer of the authority.
  8. The Village Hall Committee aim to continue operating a well conducted village hall providing facilities expected of them by a local rural community
  9. Booking form including terms and conditions of hire to be filled in and signed by hirers. Committee controls the hire of hall with booking conditions and user terms and conditions of hire agreement.
  10. Village Hall Committee awareness of responsibilities of licence.
  11. A notice to be displayed at the bar clearly indicating that it is unlawful for persons under 18 years of age to purchase alcohol and for any persons to purchase alcohol on their behalf.
  12. Under 25 Challenge 25 policy. Notice at bar to confirm same.
  13. The hall has a Fire Safety Risk Assessment prepared by a professional company. All the conditions to the assessment complied with.
  14. This is a new building with adequate fire signage and fire exits, emergency lighting (regularly tested) and external lights triggered by motion detectors.
  15. A fire alarm is fitted, is tested and recorded on a regular basis.
  16. Our extinguishers and other fire safety equipment is tested on an annual basis by a professional company.
  17. Electrical testing done as per regulations for public buildings.
  18. First aid equipment available at all times.
  19. Defibrillator is stored on site.
  20. Noise: the hall is super insulated with triple glazing throughout.
  21. All windows and doors to be closed when music playing.
  22. Notices to be displayed at exit requesting users to respect neighbours by keeping quiet on leaving.
  23. Organisations working with or involving children and vulnerable adults to have the relevant training and checks in place.
