Licence conditions (12)
  1. Strong management controls and effective training of all staff to be aware of the licensing objectives and in particular to ensure:- no underage drinking, drunkenness on the premises, drunkenness in public, use of drugs, violent and anti-social behaviour and to protect children from harm.,.
  2. Responsible management of the premises. Training and supervision of all staff, adopting best practice guide eg Portman group on drinks strategy, use of proof of age schemes and/or photo ID eg driving licences with photographs. Provision of litter bins and other security measures eg lighting outside the premises. No irresponsible drink promotions. Zero tolerance for drugs.,.
  3. Risk management assessment checked weekly and effective and responsible management at all times. General staff levels to secure safety of the premises and customers. Training and supervision of those employed. Regular testing and certification if appropriate of all procedures, appliances and systems pertinent to safety. No irresponsible drink promotions. No smoking at bar counter.,.
  4. Responsible management at all times. Training and supervision to prevent incidents of public nuisance. Regular visits to all parts of the premises including the exterior and for deliveries etc outside opening hours. Management of people including staff and traffic arriving and leaving the premises. External lighting and security lighting installed. Collection and management of litter and effective ventilation systems to prevent nuisance from odour.,.
  5. Provision of sufficient staff to secure the protection of children from harm with appropriate training. Children only on the premises between 10.00 and 21.00 except in garden/patio/restaurant until 22.00. Children must be accompanied by responsible adults at all times, which will be controlled by the supervisor at the time. Proof of age scheme and or photo-ID driving licence. No irresponsible drink promotions.,.
  6. a.)The applicant will specify precisely on the application the nature of the event for which it is intended the extra hours will be required.b.)The request must be specific in terms of hours. Unless otherwise stated the application will be for an extension of hours from the termination of licensing hours through to the start of the licensing hours. For example unless the event is capable of being so precisely defined so that the hours can be specified an applicant whose terminal hour is 12am and whose opening hours commence at 10am will apply to open between these hours.c.)The number of events will be limited to a maximum of 12 per year. For the avoidance of doubt if the authorities are notified of an event but it is not held that does not count towards the limit of 12.d.)Twenty one days notice is to be provided by the applicant in relation to each event; such notice to be served on Environmental Health Officer, Police and Council Licensing Officer. {If the draw for an event is made less than 21 days before the event, or such shorter period, then provided notification is given within 48 hours of the draw).e.)An operating plan covering the additional measures that will be taken to manage crime and disorder on these occasions will be completed and served on both the Police and Licensing Authority. It will include a risk assessment which addresses the following issues: -door staff -CCTV -Dispersal -Provision of additional transportation,.
  7. There will be no adult entertainment on the premises which will give rise to concern for children.,.
  8. The live music outside be restricted to no more that two performers (with no karaoke) and finishes at 23.00. Recorded music outside should also finish at 23.00.,.
  9. All external doors and windows on the side adjacent to residential properties must be kept closed, other than for access and egress, in all rooms when events involving amplified sound are taking place.,.
  10. No live or amplified music to be played in the open air (including temporary structures such as marquees and tents),.
  11. A designated premises supervisor will assess the impact of any noisy activities on any noise sensitive premises at the start of the activity/entertainment and periodically throughout the activity/entertainment to ensure levels of noise have not increased. [where appropriate a record shall be kept, for example in the event of complaints],.
  12. No fireworks or other pyrotechnics shall be used other than for two events per year.,.
