Licence conditions (14)
  1. Use management procedures to ensure that all objectives are met and staff training to ensure that all staff are fully aware of the licensing objectives in particular relation to: no sale of alcohol to underage people, no drunk and disorderly behaviour on the premises, being vigilant in preventing the sale or use of illegal drugs, no violent or antisocial behaviour and prevention of harm to children.
  2. Designated premises supervisor to be in control of premises and staff training on the licensing act.
  3. Staff will not sell alcohol to drunk or intoxicated people.
  4. Staff will be vigilant in the prevention of illegal drug use.
  5. Staff will be vigilant in the prevention of unauthorised alcohol consumption.
  6. Staff will be well trained in asking customers to leave the premises at the correct time in an orderly manner.
  7. Blaithwaite House has a clear drugs policy.
  8. External areas will be well lit including car parking and Bus/Taxi collection area.
  9. Internal areas will be lit when appropriate for safe egress of the premises.
  10. Well trained staff will be on hand to give clear direction & assistance if required.
  11. All fixtures and fittings will be well & regularly maintained, all regular testing (such as PAT testing) will be carried out by a competent person & a record kept for inspection if required.
  12. Blaithwaite House has a dispersal policy.
  13. Clear “Challenge 25” information displayed to prevent sale to underage people. The “Challenge 25” scheme will be used to prevent sale of alcohol to underage people by trained staff who will request acceptable ID (a card bearing the HASS hologram, a photographic driving licence).
  14. Trained staff will control the admission of children to licensed event dependant on the type of event and appropriateness.
