- Film Exhibitions
- The admission of children, that is persons under 18 years of age, to the exhibition of any film shall be restricted in accordance with any recommendation made by the British Board of Film Classification (BBFC) or by the London Borough of Bexley.
- The premises shall operate in full compliance with the Club Rules.
- The CCTV system and security lighting shall be maintained and fully operational at all times that the premises are in use under this licence.
- Clear and legible signage shall at all times be prominently displayed at all exit doors reminding members to leave quietly and with consideration to local residents.
- Clear and legible signage shall at all times be prominently displayed at the bar indicating that alcohol will not be sold or supplied, directly or indirectly to persons under the age of 18.
- The licensable activities authorised by this licence shall not be provided at the premises until such time that the Council's Environmental Health Service has confirmed to the licensing authority that the requisite works in respect of the surfaces to the patio and the area outside of the snooker room have been completed to their satisfaction.
- For the purpose of paragraph 18(5) of Schedule 8 to the Licensing Act 2003 this club premises certificate is subject to the effect of restrictions contained in the Licensing Act 1964 and the Children and Young Persons Act 1933, which include, but may not be limited to, the following:
- Alcohol shall not be sold or supplied except during the hours authorised under this club premises certificate, however this restriction does not prohibit:
- The supply to, or consumption by, any person of alcohol in any premises where they are residing; and
- During the first twenty minutes after authorised hours, the taking of alcohol from the premises, unless the alcohol is supplied or taken in an open vessel;
- ii) No child shall be employed:
- So long as he is under the age of fourteen years;
- To do any work other than light work;
- Before the close of school hours on any day on which he is required to attend school;
- Before seven o'clock in the morning or after seven o'clock in the evening on any day;
- For more than two hours on any day on which he is required to attend school;
- For more than two hours on any Sunday;
- Five hours in any day on which he is not required to attend school, and which is not a Sunday;
- For more than thirty-five hours or, if he is under the age of fifteen years, for more than twenty-five hours in any week in which he is not required to attend school; or
- For more than four hours in any day without a rest break of one hour; or
- At any time in a year unless at that time he has had, or could still have, during a period in the year in which he is not required to attend school, at least two consecutive weeks without employment.
- iii) a) Where there is provided in any building an entertainment for children, or an entertainment at which the majority of the persons attending are children, then, if the number of children attending the entertainment exceeds one hundred, it shall be the duty of the person providing the entertainment to station and keep stationed wherever necessary a sufficient number of adult attendants, properly instructed as to their duties, to prevent more children or other persons being admitted to the building, or to any part thereof, than the building or part can properly accommodate, and to control the movement of the children and other persons admitted while entering and leaving the building or any part thereof, and to take all other reasonable precautions for the safety of the children; and
- Where the occupier of a building permits, for hire or reward, the building to be used for the purpose of an entertainment, he shall take all reasonable steps to secure the observance of the provisions of this section.
- iv) No person under the age of sixteen years, and no child aged sixteen years, shall take part in any performance to which section 37(2) of the Children and Young Persons Act 1963 applies, and in which his life or limbs are endangered.
- No child under the age of twelve years shall be trained to take part in performances of a dangerous nature, and no child who has attained that age shall be trained to take part in such performances except under and in accordance with the terms of a licence granted and in force under section 24 of the Children and Young Persons Act 1933.
