Licence conditions (28)
  1. For the purpose of paragraph 18(5) of Schedule 8 to the Licensing Act 2003 this club premises certificate is subject to the effect of restrictions contained in the Licensing Act 1964 and the Children and Young Persons Act 1933, which include, but may not be limited to, the following:
  2. Alcohol shall not be sold or supplied except during the hours authorised under this club premises certificate, however this restriction does not prohibit:
  3. During the first twenty minutes after the authorised hour, the consumption of the alcohol on the premises;
  4. During the first thirty minutes after authorised hours, the consumption of the alcohol on the premises by persons taking meals there if the alcohol was supplied as ancillary to the meals;
  5. The supply to, or consumption by, any person of alcohol in any premises where they are residing; and
  6. During the first twenty minutes after authorised hours, the taking of alcohol from the premises, unless the alcohol is supplied or taken in an open vessel;
  7. ii) Alcohol shall not be sold or supplied unless it is paid for before or at the time when it is sold or supplied, except alcohol sold or supplied with and for consumption with the meal and paid for together with the meal.
  8. iii) No child shall be employed:
  9. So long as he is under the age of fourteen years;
  10. To do any work other than light work;
  11. Before the close of school hours on any day on which he is required to attend school;
  12. Before seven o'clock in the morning or after seven o'clock in the evening on any day;
  13. For more than two hours on any day on which he is required to attend school;
  14. For more than two hours on any Sunday;
  15. Five hours in any day on which he is not required to attend school, and which is not a Sunday;
  16. For more than thirty-five hours or, if he is under the age of fifteen years, for more than twenty-five hours in any week in which he is not required to attend school; or
  17. For more than four hours in any day without a rest break of one hour; or
  18. At any time in a year unless at that time he has had, or could still have, during a period in the year in which he is not required to attend school, at least two consecutive weeks without employment.
  19. iv) a) Where there is provided in any building an entertainment for children, or an entertainment at which the majority of the persons attending are children, then, if the number of children attending the entertainment exceeds one hundred, it shall be the duty of the person providing the entertainment to station and keep stationed wherever necessary a sufficient number of adult attendants, properly instructed as to their duties, to prevent more children or other persons being admitted to the building, or to any part thereof, than the building or part can properly accommodate, and to control the movement of the children and other persons admitted while entering and leaving the building or any part thereof, and to take all other reasonable precautions for the safety of the children; and
  20. Where the occupier of a building permits, for hire or reward, the building to be used for the purpose of an entertainment, he shall take all reasonable steps to secure the observance of the provisions of this section.
  21. No person under the age of sixteen years, and no child aged sixteen years, shall take part in any performance to which section 37(2) of the Children and Young Persons Act 1963 applies, and in which his life or limbs are endangered.
  22. vi) No child under the age of twelve years shall be trained to take part in performances of a dangerous nature, and no child who has attained that age shall be trained to take part in such performances except under and in accordance with the terms of a licence granted and in force under section 24 of the Children and Young Persons Act 1933.
  23. The premises shall operate in full compliance with the Club Rules.
  24. On occasions when regulated entertainment is being provided between 23.00 hours and 07.00 hours noise from the provision of regulated entertainment shall be inaudible at the façade of nearby residential properties and at all other times shall not cause a nuisance.
  25. Gaming machines shall be located in a position so as to allow to be constantly monitored by staff, and signs shall be posted adjacent to the machines stating 'Persons under 18 years of age are prohibited from playing the gaming machines'.
  26. The CCTV system and security lighting shall be maintained and fully operational at all times that the premises are in use under this licence.
  27. Clear and legible signage shall at all times be prominently displaced at all exit doors reminding members to leave quietly and with consideration to local resident.
  28. Children under the age of 18 will not be permitted on to the premises unless accompanied by an adult.
