Licence conditions (20)
  1. The club premises certificate holder shall ensure that all alcohol sold or supplied shall be consumed on the premises or beer garden.
  2. The club premises certificate holder shall ensure that there is a system in place that requires all members to sign in all guests. This signing in shall include the members and guests name and signatures.
  3. Alcohol is kept in a locked bar and cellar both are alarmed.
  4. All money is locked away in a safe in the cellar and in the till in the bar which is alarmed when not open.
  5. The club is a private members sports club and as such does not have open access to the public, only members can gain access to the building with a fob.
  6. The club premises certificate holder shall ensure that recordable CCTV is in place when licensable activity is taking place. This must be of a standard acceptable to the local Police. There shall be sufficient cameras to cover all primary public areas in addition to cameras covering the entrance and exit areas. Imagery obtained must be retained for a minimum of 28 days on a rolling basis. This must be made available in a format that can be viewed by Police and other Responsible Authorities and must be given to them on request.
  7. The club premises certificate holder shall ensure that when licensable activity is taking place and a Personal Licence Holder is not present at the premise, a responsible person aged over 18 shall be present who has written authorisation from the club chairman or secretary to sale or supply alcohol. This person shall be trained in licensing matters and be competent to deal with all licensing issues that may arise within the premise. This persons training shall be documented and made available to the police and other responsible authorities upon request.
  8. The club premises certificate holder shall ensure that a refusals book / incident book or log is maintained at the premises. These records shall be retained for a minimum of 1 year and made available to the Police and other responsible authorities upon request.
  9. The club premises has a designated external smoking area.
  10. A maximum occupancy of 100 in the clubhouse (including staff). All members' bookings and club parties have to specify the maximum number attending in advance including staff.
  11. Annual fire drills and all staff are first aid trained and most are trained in the use of the on site defibrillator. Fire alarm, extinguishers and emergency lighting is checked on a regular basis and serviced yearly.
  12. Fire exits are in the main building and adjacent to the gym.
  13. Display signs asking members and guests to leave quietly and respect our neighbours.
  14. Close doors and windows as appropriate in the evening to prevent noise leakage.
  15. Request that noise levels are kept to a minimum.
  16. Relevant staff members that come into contact with children have current DBS checks. (I.e. Coaches) Club members under 18 are allowed access to the lounge area at any time but must be accompanied by an adult if in the lounge after 9pm.
  17. Children are not allowed access to the bar and cellar at any time.
  18. Soft drinks for children are available at all times that the bar is open.
  19. The club premises certificate holder shall ensure that a system is in place to ensure that every individual who appears to be under 25 years of age seeking to purchase or be supplied with alcohol at or from the premises, shall produce acceptable means of identification and age confirmation. Acceptable identification shall be passport, photo driving licence or PASS accredited photo ID. If the person seeking alcohol is unable to produce acceptable means of identification, no sale or supply of alcohol will be made to or for that person.
  20. The club premises certificate holder shall ensure that a training package is in place in order for all staff involved with the sale or supply of alcohol to be sufficiently trained in licensing matters proportionate to their role and be aware of their responsibilities. This training shall include the refusal of service of alcohol to drunks and age verification. Records shall be kept of this training, dated and signed by the staff member and trainer. Refresher training shall be completed at least every 12 months again with documented records made and to be available for inspection from Police and other responsible authorities. A written record shall be retained at each bar to show the staff that have been authorised to sell or supply alcohol. This shall be made available to the Police and other responsible authorities on request.
