Licence conditions (15)
  1. Where a premises licence authorises the sale of alcohol, the licence must include the following conditions:
  2. All staff will receive training so that they are aware of the premises licence and the requirements to meet the four licensing objectives with particular attention to: 1.1 No selling of alcohol to underage people 1.2 No drunk & disorderly behaviour on the premises area 1.3 Vigilance in preventing the use of illegal drugs at the retail area 1.4 No violent & antisocial behaviour 1.5 No harm to children
  3. Staff training records will be kept at the premises and refresher training will be undertaken with staff on a regular basis. Staff training records will be made available upon request to officer of responsible authority. 2.1 All training records will be updated every six months. The Prevention of crime and disorder
  4. The Licence holder shall install and maintain a CCTV system on the premises which must record at all times the premises are open to the public. The recording must be kept for a minimum of 28 days and be available for inspection by an authorised officer on reasonable demand.
  5. The licence holder shall ensure that a refusals register will be maintained at the premises to record all refused sales. The entry for each refused sale will be entered into the register within one hour of the refusal taking place and will show the date, time and the description of the refused person and must show the details of the person refusing the sale. Each entry will be kept in the register for a minimum of 12 months and must be made available for inspection by an authorised officer of the Local Authority, Police and Trading Standards immediately upon request Public safety
  6. The licence holder shall ensure that an incident log will be maintained at the premises to record all incidents. All Staff will be trained in its use and an entry for each incident will be entered into the register within one hour of the incident taking place and will show the date, time and a description of the incident. Each entry will be kept in the log for a minimum of 12 months and must be made available for inspection by an authorised officer of the local authority or an authorised member of Suffolk Constabulary immediately upon request.
  7. The premises licence Holder shall ensure that the appropriate fire safety, and health and safety regulations are applied at the premises. Ensuring the premises meet all Health and Safety regulations and ensure that regular risk assessments are completed to identify and mitigate potential hazards. The prevention of public nuisance
  8. The licence holder shall display clear and legible notices requesting patrons to respect nearby residents and leave the premises quietly.
  9. The Licence Holder shall ensure that lighting is provided outside the premises during the hours of darkness when any licensable activity takes place on the premises. All lighting on or outside the premises will be positioned in such a way as to not cause a nuisance.
  10. The premises licence holder will make every effort to ensure that waste collections and disposal will take place at a reasonable time of the day.
  11. The premises licence holder will engage in regular communication with the immediate local residents to discuss measures to reduce any disturbance the premises is causing. The protection of children from harm
  12. The Licence holder shall ensure that no children under the age of 16 years are allowed on the premises after 9pm unless accompanied by an adult.
  13. The premises licence holder will ensure that all staff have training to recognise and respond to signs of child exploitation or abuse.
  14. The licence holder shall implement the 'Challenge 25' scheme, ensuring prominent signage is displayed throughout the premises and all staff are trained in its operation. The Licence Holder shall ensure that any person selling or supplying alcohol at the premises, under the authority of a Personal Licence Holder, asks for photographic proof of ID document where they have reason to suspect that the individual may be less than 25 years of age.
  15. In the outside licensable area, live or recorded music may only be played between the hours of 12:00 (noon) and 22:00 and shall only be permitted when licensable activities are taking place on the premises. Section 177a of the Licensing Act 2003 does not apply to this condition.
