  2. · These premises are run as a newsagent/convenience store
  3. General - all four licensing objectives:
  4. · These premises are operated as a newsagent/convenience store and the owners now wish to enhance their business with an off licence facility
  5. The prevention of crime and disorder:
  6. · A new CCTV system is to be installed and we will work in liaison with the police and make available to them any CCTV recorded images they consider necessary, in the course of any investigation and our refusals book.
  7. · No sale of intoxicating liquor will be made to persons where there are grounds to believe that the sale will result in crime and disorder.
  8. Public safety:
  9. · We will endeavour to ensure that the premises are safe for both staff and the general public.
  10. · We will implement any additional fire authority recommendations.
  11. The prevention of public nuisance:
  12. · We will contribute to alleviate public nuisance on and in the vicinity of the premises during the times when the premises are open to members of the public.
  13. · All deliveries and the collection of refuse will take place during day time hours, as at present.
  14. The protection of children from harm:
  15. · Staff training will be given to all staff using training methods recognised by the police/trading standards.
  16. · Only PASS approved IDs will be acceptable plus passports or photo driving licenses.
  17. · A refusals register or other recognised method will be used to monitor staff compliance.
  18. · PASS scheme signage will be displayed at the entrance to the premises.
  19. · The designated premises supervisor will instruct all staff selling or supplying intoxicating liquor not to serve persons under the age of 18 years.
  20. · No employee under the age of 18 years of age will be responsible for the sale of intoxicating liquor.
