Conditions Agreed with Responsible Authorities:Agreed - 18 July 2006 1. Disposal of waste (including bottles) via the side door and into the rear bin stores that are adjacent to East Stockwell Street must not occur between 21.00-09.00.
Conditions Offered By The Applicant:1. The premises must install, operate and maintain a comprehensive digital CCTV system. All public areas of the licensed premises, including all public entry and exit points, and the street environment will be covered. The CCTV cameras must continually record while the premises are open to the public and recording must be kept available and unedited for a minimum of 31 days with the date and time stamping. A staff member who is conversant with the operation of the CCTV system must be present on the premises at all times when they are open to the public and must be able to produce/download/burn CCTV images upon request by a Police officer or an authorised officer of the Licensing Authority. Any footage must be in a format that can be played back on a standard personal computer or standard DVD player. Where the recording is on a removable medium (i.e. compact disk, flash card etc.), a secure storage system to store those recording mediums must be provided. 2. A drugs search by consent policy under CCTV cameras as a condition of entry where door supervisors are employed should be in place to deter drugs and weapons entering the premises and an appropriate drugs safe box kept on the premises for the security of unlawful drugs seized or found by staff and kept secure until such times that Essex Police can dispose of those drugs lawfully. Essex Police code of practice and recommendation is that 2 in every 10 persons are searched (minimum). 3. All alcoholic drinks in the premises will be served in PET, polycarbonate, shatter to safe, plastic, paper, toughened glass containers or cans with the exception of (1) all alcoholic bottled drinks (2) Wine , champagne and spirit bottles to booths and tables (3) vessels used for drinking cocktails, wine and champagne4.
